Among all the visitors, more than 300 children went very early to Rungis this Thursday, May 23 to come visit the pavilions of the meat products sector of the Rungis Market. For once, no one was reluctant to get up at 6am and get dressed up to face the cold premises. Understanding the trades, discovering products and working conditions, talking with passionate professionals, these are the goals of Days meat visits.
In the South of France as well, we participated with the slaughterhouse of Sisteron at Days meat 2019. More than fifty people have walked through the slaughterhouse doors to visit the slaughter line and answer various questions about traceability, quality, provenance and animal welfare.
